how do i replace clutch on 1987 toyota mr2?

my car needs new clutch and i already bought a new clutch kit.my problem is i cant find my repair manual.can anybody suggest any website that could help me step-by-step on how to do it myself.

It is a vary time consuming process and easy to, how shall I say it, screw it up. There is a reason that a shop charges you $1,000 in labor to do the job.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

could you be a bit more specific? Or would you like me to respond with something equally vague?

Let me give a vague response,
    "With Tools"

    "Carefully"

"By separating the engine from the transmission, and then completing the process in reverse."

replacing the clutch involves removing the transmission. you’ll need a special clutch fork which is a large tool. it’s pretty involved, but if you’re up for the task make sure you have a bunch of metric sockets.
